Musings on Women's day celebration 

Feminine and masculine traits have nothing to do with gender. An individual is complete when one accepts both feminine and masculine characteristics in  oneself. Prominent feminine traits are tenderness, kindness, vulnerability, attentiveness, empathy, intuition and interdependence. On the occasion of women's day let us honour the feminine energy (Shakti/Maya) in all beings, irrespective of their gender. 🙏❤️ Sivashakti Yoga Bangalore

Doormat - by Latha Ramanan

"Be on my doormat to witness me enjoying life, 

be part of my life, from the doormat, 

stay so close and still so far,

 will meet you at my doormat to use you."

''I am fine not watching you at all, 

You invoked me with your 'stay-with-me pleads',

 to meet your desperate needs. 

My place is in the heart just as I treasured you; 

letting go with dignity to heal myself alone. 

There will be a time you regret and lament, sitting on your doormat!"
